But this will brighten up my days... and keep me from falling into a drunken cultural deprivation thing....

Whenyou're replying to a thread you have a box above which are options for font, size, colour, bold etc. in the middle of all this is a little square with what looks like mountains and a sunshine in it. Click on that, add the url that your image is at into the little pop up box, okay it and you're done.

If you haven't got a web address for the image you'll need to attach it, so it'll show up as a link. Look in the "additional options" box underneath your reply and click "Manage attachments" the rest will then become clear.
