The operative word here is demanded. What kind of relationship was it to begin with if someone was demanding things? In my opinion, a good relationship is give and take but who is counting?If both parties were concentrating on what they could give instead of " me, me, me", a lot morecouples would still be together.

Have you ever thought of the possibility that the woman may have pushed you away because she felt that she wasn't worthy of you? How was the communication? Sometimes we need to peel back the onion to find out what is really going on with someone.

Being bitter doesn't benefit you in the least; sometimes our lesson in it is blatant and sometimes we have to figure it out over time..........In any case, the lesson will keep coming back to us in one form or another until we actually learn the lesson.

Yes, I am sad right now and yes, I miss him........The best thing I can do for myself is to live a good life, reach out to others, and be open to new opportunities (Maybe even putting that energy out there). I'll keep you posted.......

Sometimes, someone leaves the relationship and it has nothing to do with you or what you did or didn't do......maybe they just weren't ready for a relationship ( The problem I recently dealt with)............It hurts because you figure that they know what they want and what they are ready for but it isn't always the case.

For whoever else is going through this, know it will pass. In the meantime, there are supportive people here to get you through it.
