Juicy, come down to New Orleans. We can sit around and listen to some jazz, I will play piano for you...my man will give you back rubs (massage therapist), there is a great Spanish Flamenco club we can hang out in, eat some Jumbalaya with Andoille sausage, some pralines and my special cherry lemonaide....sitting on the porch swing.
I do that shit every day.

New Orleans has it's problems, but if you live in a perpetual state of oblivion as I do, it is so damned easy to ignore tthose problems. It's great. I gave up watching the news. I haven't owned a TV in almost five years. I am finally free.free No worries. I am a happier person now. But yeah, NOLA is great. Seriously, if you ever come down this way, I will show you around and take you to dinner and dancing.

Come on down south, what I'll show you is the redneck south. If it rains we can go play in the mud in the 4 x 4, if it doesn't we can take the 4 wheeler and go exploring out through open spaces picking wild flowers and just enjoying nature. I'll show you lots of interesting and enjoyable things out there.
Later on we can cruise up to Atlanta and goof off for the evening or we can find mischief around home. The next morning we could have brunch at one of the great old plantations.
I suppose what I would offer is friendship, good times, good laughs, places of comfort, wonderful memories and peace.

I was just in California over the Christmas holidays visiting my brother.
But, somehow, I think the scenery and tasting you are talking about takes place inside rather than outside. Counting the ceiling tiles in your room was a big, big clue

We would start by showing up at the airport, dressed in a three-piece suit, handing you the keys to a new rented car, and letting you decide where to go. A hotel room would be booked, with a king sized bed, silk sheets, chilled champange, low, slow, romantic music.......

I don't know for sure, but I imagine we'd find something to do: listen to music, talk about whatever came to mind, make dinner together and take our time with it, roam the town until something struck our fancy for dessert, watch a movie, or catch a show.
Some combination of those sounds like a good evening.
I'm not a complicated guy. I don't entertain very extravagantly, but I think my presence and some genuinely good conversation might make up for any lack of glitz and glamor.
And a goodnight kiss - that's all.

What to do...
Well, I'm smack in the middle of Tennessee, so you'd have your choice of Nashville or Knoxville for dinner and entertainment. Perhaps a trip to the theatre or a concert beneath the stars.
Or we can do the outdoorsy thing. Got about a hundred acres to roam with bluffs and rocks to explore. Used to be good places to find arrowheads, but not so much anymore. Perhaps we could explore each other...
Bring a blanket.
Or if it's in the fall we can head over to the Smokies to look at the leaves.
Lots of things to do.

Growing up, my grandparents lived outside of Gatlinburg. You could see the exit for the Smokey Mt. National Park from their back yard. Spend wonderful summers there. Haven't been back n a very long time.
