I'd like to propose a toast...

INTRODUCTION:

This began as a way to keep company with those who were alone on Valentine's Day, for whatever reason. It was inspired by PROBLEM CHILD's "5 Things about _____" thread. It was intended to be positive, not quick. I do put thought into each toast, and I do use real wine or champagne.

For those of you who are veteran Litizens, This may read like a high school yearbook, it will prompt memories.

For those of you who are new & looking for a program to clue you in on the cast of general board addicts, this is a start.

Some things have changed since. Foxinsox has recovered her health and returned to work. The romance in my first toast has since concluded, but I still wish her well & fairwell. Juspar & Lickerish have found each other & became "Bitten by the smitten bug."


To my Beloved,working somewhere without cellular service on the other side of the state. I love her for her passion, compassion, courage, conviction, perserverance, loyalty & trust. May she be healthy & happy , prosperous &prolific,
on this Valentine's Day, & in the many more in years to come.

Laurel the hostess of our endless party where so many friends have been found.

For letting me see that while descency may demand that we draw a line about what's acceptable in terms of free speech & perversion, the best line is little or none at all, because once it starts any one of us could find ourselves alone & confined to a tiny circle.

& to The Manu who daily confronts & overcomes our technical challenges. Without him in the kithchen, this party wouldn't last.

To the mechanic who finally FINALLY fixed my car today, after 8... that's right 8 days in the shop. So, I can leave mom's house, I can leave The Little Apple... I can get the hell home. The irony is, I'm most likely returning home only to plan on moving back to this town I'm currently going insane in.

And, a toast to all of you who matter to me, may you learn, love, and laugh more every single day.
