ICQ help

I was on icq for forever, until the 2002 version came out. I loaded it up and have not been able to get on since. It locks up my computer. I really enjoyed talking to folks, and would appreciate any advice.

I had the same trouble, I downloaded it a few times from various sites but none worked. So I went back and downloaded 99b again and its back working fine.

I too had that trouble. Didnt think to re-get 99 as I had just upgraded extensively my system and went to XP.....dumbass had to get a new (and much much higher) icq#.

Could you not just re-register your old ICQ# on your new pc/icq download???

If you try to load it from an older version and still have problems with it you need to go to the registery and erase it from there. Then you should be able to load any version you want off it. Thats what i had to do and i think i have used all the versions in the past 8 years of chatting on this thing. Good luck to ya.
