I suspect that there is a majority of Americans...

Lost....

there are many civilians that are worried about what is going on. Remember they have loved ones. My father is concerned and nobody directly associated to him is involved. He is concerned because he fought in WWII. I think he thought that when he fought that nobody would have to after him. Then Korea, Vietman, etc. and now this.

It is stressful as a civilian at least in my eyes. It is the uncertainty of things to be. Living in NY I still from time to time fear terrorist retaliation for it is still fresh from time to time. I try my best not to let it take over living and also if I did in a way they would win.

In my humble opinion people do care. Some don't care enough to go to war. Some support what Bush is doing. Some are just ignorant to it because it does not affect their daily lives as they see it. Just realize I do care and worry for all the service people over there and the civilians that might be apart of this. Both sides mind you but we cannot have peace if it is only one sided. We put down our weapons does that guarantee that they will put their's down?

Peace,

That is the point isn't it?

History has shown time and time again the folly of uni-lateral disarmament and the grain that is harvested from policies of appeasement.

It's a very difficult question. To go to war or not? To invade a sovereign nation or keep turning a blind eye to continued acts of barbarism. One option is diplomacy. But that's been tried to with little success. There seem to be very few options open to people who care.

This whole war thing makes me very uneasy.

I don't support Bush, I think he comes across as a bully and he just seems way too much into having a war. I just don't think there are good intentions behind why he wants this. I think he's got a hidden agenda.

Was Kosovo and Serbia soveriegn nations LTGR? Weren't the Europeans all in favor of American blood being shed there? Why was that? Are the circumstances so different? Atrocities commited against a majority by the 'legal' government?

Or was it just that France and Germany weren't doing billions in trade with those nations?

Uneasy? I think that fuck-wit Bush is on the verge of plunging the world into war ... not to mention that his foreign policy has made America a prime target for terrorism.
How do you figure (on both counts)?
