"i still got it!" or "my new scanner"

ok, so i came to realize that it's the motor in my old scanner that crapped out, so my friends and i all agreeded that it would be cheaper to just buy a new scanner than to get my old one fixed (comp repair guys rape you up here in Anchorage.. worse than elsewhere, i mean).

and when in 5th-7th grade, i could draw absolutly incredable pics, but i seemed to have lost my touch for a few years. a couple weeks ago i decided to draw my current av and found that my special "touch" has returned! sooooo... w/o further ado, here's the "i still got it!" part.

i scanned the drawing and used Paint Shop Pro 6 to reduce the size and crop out the text (his name, Drizzt Do'Urden, in fancy letters) so i could post it, yes.

and i don't have much scanned b/c i havn't really drawn much in the past several years, and what little i did before then is back in Iowa.

You did a really nice job with the colors and the light coming off the sword. I am in web design and soon...ahhhhhh... soon we will be using the Paint shop pro. I just got Photoshop6...eeeeeep I think I need to get a book on how in the hell to work it...

ohh.. my av is actually a modified verson (size wise) of the pic of Drizzt from the new D&D Forgotten Realms guidebook. i just made the pencil drawing of it. sorry 'bout the confusion there.

That is damn good. Have you ever seen any drawings of Rolland the gunslinger from the Dark Tower series. I would really like an AV of him but have not really found any good drawings that would work.
