Another thing I really hate: the addition of a "reputation." (it's listed next to your avatar in posts). It is insidious. Just provides trolls and forum crazies with another way to hurt someone's feelings. Fun forum game for those forums who use this feature: find somebody who _cares_ what other people think about them (or who complains in open about their own reputation). Then get your buddies to "vote" negatively for this person and skew their rep into the garbage can. Some people know to ignore reps on forums who use them because they are so easily manipulated this way, but a few people take them very seriously and get horribly disturbed when someone starts a voting campaign against them. Other people are dumb enough to believe that a person's rep rating means anything. There are already enough sick high-schoolish popularity contests and silly clique wars going on in this place without the software adding in yet another way for people to act childish! (unlike most of the other things I dislike about the sw upgrade "reputation" can be turned off by the admins.--hint hint)

I agree TaintedB...we still have this option on one forum..and believe it or not people make a huge fuss bout it(but I guess also coz it's displayed in high right corner of their every post with number and colors etc) and then we have groups of ppl adding to reputations of their friends all the time and it just never ends..This feature always annoyed me

I don't see what you are talking about in regards to "reputation" but I can certainly see how some people could have lots of mean and unkind fun with that. And they will... without a doubt.
I have to agree with several others of you... I don't see how this is a great improvement. It's simply too confusing for me, at this point. I guess when I have time to dick with it, maybe I'll change my mind.
