The "White Heat" of iron being worked in a forge was the brightest artificial light known to mankind for centuries -- until the invention of gas mantle lighting (in the 18th century in Europe, IIRC.)
Its a good idea WH but it doesn't fit... Forge heat is always yellow to me, even when something is white hot, and suggests the sun. Her power is from the Moon.
