When I'm posting on this forum there are prompts whereby, I can have any words such as these appear in bold or other words italicized as I see fit. And I don't even need to use the prompts as tapping ctr key simultaneously with the lower case b will render my words in bold. However, when I submit a copy of my text to the new story field for eventual publication on this site it will not accept any words in bold or italicized. Tapping the ctr key along with the b will not have the desired effect in the draft form either. Does this mean literotica does not wish to have any words in bold or italicized in the texts of submitted stories or is there a way to render words in bold or italicized?

Or else, use the “attach document upload” feature of the story submission form. You can upload your story in a .rtf file, a .doc or .docx file, and maybe other formats too.
This is usually what I do, although it does take a little longer to get through review if I remember correctly.

Not that I've seen. I upload .docx files exclusively; last couple of years my stories go to the NEW queue within hours. OTOH, Laurel has accumulated a whole bushel of apples I've brought to class.

;)

Huh. Well, that's good to know! I thought I remembered people saying it took a few days, whereas direct submissions to the text box seemed to go through within a few hours, but I'm sure there are plenty of other reasons for that, like they're shorter, or those people are on a white list or something. Makes me feel better for submitting .rtf and .docx files rather than using markup.
