I read this book called Sloppy Firsts by Megan McCafferty. It was a really good book, about a girl in high school whose best friend moves away. The book goes through her trials of going through high school (which is bad enough), not having real friends and confusing feelings about a guy.
This book reminded me about my high school years and I could not put it down. It's also written in diary format, which I love. Plus, it's going to be a series, with each book being a year.
Anyway to the cool author part. I e-mailed Megan McCafferty to praise her on the book and she e-mailed me back in about an hour. I think that is so cool, it's not a form letter either. A cool e-mail that answers what I wrote.
I just had to share that, and recommend the book Sloppy Firsts.
