in less than 24 hours!!

maybe my scale is off.. maybe i misread the scale yesterday

I'm taking some diet pills.. herbal ones.. and I'm eating.. and drinking tons of water..

but damn.. 10 pounds in less than 24 hours???

I have to watch what I do.. so I don't fall back into my old habits.. does anyone think I should be concerned?

What pills were these again??

10 pounds in 24 hours? I would be a bit concerned. Are there any noticeable changes in your body?

Metabolife 356.. i've taken them before.. and if they are done right.. they are great..

no noticeable changes in my body..I've been peeing like crazy.. but then all that water I'm drinking has to go some place.. right?

I'd still be concerned, but taking metabolife (the right way) and drinking alot of water is a really good way to shed some pounds.

Those are really fast results though, I'm stumped.

FG- Just be careful. if you continue to lose weight at this rate, stop taking those pills. 10 pounds is an awful lot to lose in 24 hours.

freakygurl.. have you ever had good results with those things? are you sure it was the pill and not the water flushing out your system?

i started taking something called mini-naturals yesterday.. cousin to mini-thins.. i don't see how it would do any good other than having me be too hyper to worry about eating.

it was a good (legal) high for someone who never gets high tho :D holy hell i've never been so productive at work.

stay away from the weight loss pills.

rapid weight loss is bad for you belive me
I lost 30lbs in 27 days... you can actauly hurt yourself doing that, I did.... and now none of my cloths fit.

10 pounds is more then a body should lose in a week, let alone a day. My guess is, though, that the scale was either misread, or off a bit. Losing that much would show noticably, especially in what pants you wear. If you wear jeans, the waist would hang, the legs would be baggy, etc.

Other then that, just make sure that you are eating sensibly, take vitamins, and drink lots of fluids.

On a side note, I found out that in just over a week, I have dropped 25 pounds. Now, if only it were real pounds, and not baby weight. (and if only I didn't still have 20 to go)

I checked the scale.. it seems ok.. i think maybe i misread it..

I feel great.. and yes, I have had great success with the pills.. I've taken them before.. and lost 62lbs on them. I stopped taking them because I had some kidney problems and waited until I got the test results back to see if the pills were the problem or if it was me.. come to find out it was me.. and the doctor told me I could use the pills again.

They are herbal.. and I take a once a day complete vitamin.. and I am now eating 3 meals a day. I drink 64 ounces or more of water.

I didn't use to eat but maybe once and with my history.. I had to do something. Not eating is my way of punishing myself for being fat.. *long story*

Anyway.. i walk 3 miles a day.. omg.. I think that alone is going to kill me.. but my dogs enjoy it.. so I'll keep doing it.. lol

I will watch it a few more days.. maybe it was a combination of misreading the scales and my body flushing itself out..

I've heard,(over the radio, so, it may prove wrong,)that Metabolife works wonders. I hope the diet works to your advantage. Good luck. You GO GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course, the board will HAVE to see the end results.

Each pound contains 3,500 calories. Permanent weight loss requires both regular exercise and a balanced diet, including drinking plenty of water. A recent study looked at the exercise habits of weight-loss success stories - men and women that lost an average of 66 pounds and kept the weight off for an average of five years. Virtually everyone in the study reported exercising regularly and more than half of the subjects reported burning at least 2,000 calories per week through exercise (roughly the equivalent of walking for an hour five days a week). To lose weight and keep it off, you must burn at least 1,000 calories per week through exercise.

Freaky, it sounds like you are off to a great start, though don't expect - or even attempt - to lose more than 2 pounds per week. That's 7,000 calories you have to burn through diet and exercise. A slow, steady pace will ensure your long term success.

Last note - do you have an fitness log? I've found that writing down my exercise routines and nutrition notes has helped keep me focused. Plus it's really rewarding looking back and seeing the pages filled in. :)

He's right, but what I want to know is.... Do you just have to be naked all of the time now. I hope so. :D

Only if I choose to be :D if not I just wear baggy pants that sometimes fall off. lol

I dont want to discurage you but ...

10 lbs of real weight loss in one day is imposible. A combination of water loss and miss read scale is probobly what happened.

It took my nearly a year to loos 50 lbs and be able to keep it off. I started at 275 and am now at 225. I still have about 20 lbs to go. Slow and steady is the way to loose it and keep it off.

Keep at it and dont get on the scale every day to check. your body will adjust up and down every few days or so. Once a week is a good indication of how you are doing. Also as you loose weight your cloths will get loosen up. This is going to be a good indication of weight loss.

Make sure you add exercise to your program also. Your body will want to shed any excess muscle and will fight to keep any fat that you have.

Good luck and keep up the weight loss

nasty, you have to take into account that the people telling you it's good "over the radio", are being paid to say that.

If those pills are actually helping you FG, then good for you. I'm glad they're working for you.

I could stand to lose 20 lbs as well, but there's no way I can do it in less than 2 months, without hurting myself somehow.

Congrats:)

Congratulations Freakygurl I think that is wonderful:) I hope you get to your desired number!!

nasty-I had a friend (a nurse) who lost 100lbs using a sensible diet and metabolife.. I guess it depends too on the persons want and will power. I want to lose weight.. I hope it does for me what it did for her.

Mischka-I'm keeping a journal now.. Thanks for the idea. And yes, i walk daily.. really early in the morning.. before I have to get my daughter up for school. The dogs are getting into shape also. Now if I could just get my husband to go with me.. the lazy bum ;)

Unregistered-why did you not post under your normal name?? No reason to hide..thanks for your wisdom.. and good luck on your weight loss also. :)

lobito-keep your fingers crossed for me.. ;)
