Shouldn't it be a crime that I can't take my Mauser made in Berlin with me to Germany? Oh the humanity!!!!
But thanks, and info would be Soooo appreciated! It's been giving me grief, I've had friends in about 10 states looking and no luck yet.

Mae, save the brass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get a reloader and a good manual. The 7.65 takes Brit. .303 bullets. No prob. there. But the brass is a real 'odd duck'.
If you get your own reloader, or find someone that will do it for you, be very careful. The 7.65 action is NOT up to modern pressure standards. If loaded to full case potential with modern powders you can blow the sucker up.

Used-ta-be I could find it in quaint ol gun shops here, about $35/box of 20 rounds. Now I can't find it anywhere. My reloader friends just laughed at me *sigh*

RCBS makes a die set for "7.65 x 53mm Belgian Mauser." Is that the amuunition your Modelo Argentino takes?
My Nosler Reloading amnual doesn't have the load data for that caliber, but I haven't checked my RCBS or Speer reloading dta programs yet either.
Places like Cabela's might have or be able to get you either Amunition or Brass/reloading supplies.
