Well I am not one of the hard ass GBers you guys are probably used to seeing. I go there to flirt, talk shit, and have fun... without getting mean or personal. I like the GB because it doesn't center around sexual play and meeting people for anything more than camaraderie and friendship with some harmless flirting thrown in. That doesn't mean the other stuff doesn't happen, but it's not what the point of the board is.

The playground is under the heading of "personals" in the board list. To me, that says it's a place to come and look for something more than friendship. I also know that playing word games is big here, which is why I brought that up in my original post. Anyway, I want to know.... is it really a 'personals' type place or is it just more fluffy than the GB tends to be?

It totally depends on the thread. For the most part it is the GB without the attitude, I am not looking for anyone and I know most of the people I talk to aren't either.

Nearly all the threads (excluding the manic amount of word and number games) DO have titles that center around meeting to chat. While some have more imagination and almost belong in SRP, nearly all the threads are emant to draw you into conversation.

BTW Playground has no monopoly on bad thread titles.

There is a thread here to cover every topic known to man. The playground just does not claim to have the cure for cancer like the GB. Pick a thread jump in and talk and get to know people. If you just want to fuck or suck go somewhere else.

This isn't about whether the thread titles are good or bad. It's about the suggestions that they make about the topic within them. Just because I can hang at the GB without getting involved in shit, doesn't mean that I'm some hateful person. If you look back over what I've said here, you'll notice I haven't said a single thing to put down the playground or the people who post here.
