I had a wonderful dinner tonight with my baby brother; and he cooked, for a change!

For me, this a pretty big deal. You see, we were estranged for a number of years and only recently have we become good friends. Usually, I cook. But tonight my bro invited me over to his place for a feast. Actually it was more of a love fest.

My brother once said that if we hadn't been brothers we would never have met. That's a perceptive staement since we are so different. For years I allowed our differences to divide us. I no longer allow that to be the case. That's why dinner with brother is so important to me.

A simple story about a person who had two brothers that she loved more than breathing. When they were gone, she found herself looking at every person who had brothers or sisters that were still alive as the luckiest people she had ever seen. God I wish everyone had the chance to sit down & have dinner like that.
