I got a letter from a friend of mine yesterday - we have known each other since school. He now lives in Wales. Anyway, he married a girl last year that he met in the UK.

She is a little odd to say the least. The two of them went on a holiday to France shortly after they got married. They visited an old castle in France and she was apparently obsessed with it. She used to dream about it all the time. She would wake up every morning and tell Jonathan all about it. Always this same castle. Anyway, they went back to France again a little while ago - at her request, and fuelled by her obsession and her dreams, she wanted to see the castle again.

So he took her. But then he freaked out ......

When they got there, she knew her way around the place as if she lived there. He said that it was spooky - even she was a little freaked out. She would say things like "I came into this room in one of my dreams" etc. And then, as they left, they saw the care-taker / janitor of the place. He took one look at Christine and apparently (according to Jon) spun out saying "there is the woman who haunts this place"

Scary, don't you think? Anyway, Jon and Chris have been to see a counsellor - they were obviously disturbed - and were told that this is a common phenomenon. She apparently has a wandering mind that leaves her body at night - astra travels, I suppose. If it is this common (as their psychologists claims), then has anybody else around here experienced something like this?

not to that extent

I am relating this second hand as my memory doesn't extend back more than 7 years for the most part.

I have been in situations where I could tell you exactly what was going to happen, and who was going to say what to make it happen,,, and apparently I was able to this about the time I walked into a place or arrived at a party/gathering,,, this usually happened with small groups though. Although I am told that I acted like I was at ease with some older places that we visited, as opposed to being in awe of the place.

My exwife used to tell I was a gypsy in some former life since I had the ability to see portions of the future ( how THAT makes sense I'm not sure),,, and I mean it happened a lot according to the ex,,, then after having two strokes in my right brain, nothing, not even a whisper,,, shadows sometimes, and a creepy feeling on my neck, but no clarity.

Too weird I know.

Astral projections, or remote reviewing-yeah, I've heard of this. My uncle likes to believe that he can do it. I think they even have programs to develop it in Texas and I know that there are websites galor on the topic.

astral projection.

About as simple and 'spooky' as deep meditation.

Not uncommon, and actually really good for children with nightmares.

Yes, but I try very hard to stay in body now. It's very seductive to be Elsewhere.

i dream about things to come, but they're all mundane,... things that people say, short, completely accurate down to the detail but unimportant in the scheme of things. i feel like i've been cheated sometimes, like why don't i dream about pivotal events? but this is something i have no control over,

although i will admit that when i'm awake i've chosen to scrupulously avoid believeing i have any kind of powers (aside from the dreams) and refuse to practice anything resembling the paranormal, not because i don't believe but because i have yet to believe i'm emotionally stable enough to put myself in that situation, truth be told, i'm just scared, of what may happen,... of how far my mind, and maybe my imagination will go,...

but i digress
c ya!
