I feel old...

Gutten Abend meinen Liebling Ein. Hast du Ein anhaltender Schmerz?;):D

I'm 59, still rehabbing my left knee after a waterski accident two years ago. :( Plus arthritis in my right ankle. I'm reduced to a rather sedate walk now when I go out.:( Used to "powerwalk", maybe that's the reason for the arthritis, but I'm back on the Ping Pong tables again! :)

Well, at least ya got hurt doing something fun. Its better than twisting your knee getting out of the car or something.

And hey, what it may lack in exercise value, ping pong makes up for in fun. And isn't that all that really matters?

Erzählen Sie Leuten, was es bedeutet nicht.

Wo kann ich ein Leben kaufen?

The business/company is a major part of my life.
I admit it, I accept it, I'm not complaining.

Matter of priorities.

I value my downtime at Lit as a bonus.

nicht an irgendeinem Speicher herum hier.

wenn Sie ein zwar finden, lassen Sie mich wissen.

I could use one too

Is my German bad or what?

You're right. Internet in general or specifically Lit is no substitute for a real life.

Just step outside your door, RL is waiting there for you.
And in case, you'Re interested in German lessons, just PM me anytime. ;)

You get lots of bonuses.;)

Feeling old isn't about age....it's about attitude. Work is tiring when the hours stack up (boy, was I tired last night after working 25 this w/e....I know....peanuts compared to some) but even tired we can keep that youthful attitude.

And when I look at how tired, grumpy and cranky my teen can get....I know that's not an aged thing....although it might be an age thing.

Coach potatoes don't pull muscles....

being an extremely INactive 43 (but only 33 if you don't count weekends or holidays), I have found that lounging in a comfy chair or couch.....drinking a Pepsi...watching something on TV....rarely ever causes muscle pulls, 'scoping of knees, carpel tunnel syndrom, flu, cavities (OK Pepsi DOES cause cavities), bleeding ulcers or genital herpes.

Of course my body has assumed the shape of the couch to a certain extent.....

I'd say, in balance, I'd be 25 again and start over.....but once I got to 43, I'd have the remote surgically attached to my hand.

Sorta a counter-arguement from most posts in here...

Good idea. It's not the strenuous activity that's going to get you.

It's when you bend over to pick up the remote that slid off the couch that's going to throw your back out of wack.

Then you'll need strict bedrest.....lol
