Santa Claus is comming to town....

They've played it on the radio the entire day.
Now it is in my brain and I'm humming and singing it.

Hope you all had a nice Christmas Day.

Are you having fun in LA yet Rex? What's it like? Have you done any sightseeing?

Sightseeing ?
You mean besides all that shopping ?

Nope.
But I've seen most of the malls so far and of course Downtown Fashion District.

Plus I had to carry all those bags...

Silly man, that is sightseeing!! I like your wife already. Do you hold her purse for her when she tries things on? I love that in a man!

Is it the filthy, crime ridden hellhole we have all been led to believe it is? Or is LA not that bad? I'm dying to know!

I haven't seen homeless people at Rodeo Drive.

But at Highland & Hollywood right in front of Kodak Theater.

And I guess Santa at Scientology is a crime suspect....

hi rex, weed's hubby here-

have you tried surfing?
I remember the waves were pretty good around this time of year.

Well you dont need a wetsuit for that-

or, maybe you could use one for all the spunk,eh?

Hi,

Nice to meet you too?

Ive heard nice things about you.

I wont be spending much time here-

I think its the wife's turf, and I can dig that,

just noodling around this morning.

Been shoveling snow and I needed a break.

:)

... dooh

and it's such a sunny morning here in L.A.
I somehow missed the snow at christmas eve, but now I'm more curious about heading to Big Bear and have some skiing.
Pacific Ocean and alpine fun all in a range of 2hrs is just great.

I"m really thinking about moving here.

I lived in SoCal for 4 years-66-70 when I was a young spunker.

Did my first snow skiing at Big Bear. Used to surf alot. (lived in Hawaii when I was even younger)

For a San Francisco boy, that LA thing was interesting. I was glad to move back to the Bay Area when we did. Get back to the hills and the THE CITY!

Surfing with all those big sharks-kind of like here.

I first came to California back in '87 for honeymoon.
I liked Frisco more than L.A.

But now ...

LA is warmer, flatter, beachier, and all those fitness centers (yuk)

I like the fog and the rapture of the bay.

I always miss it this time of year.

I know what you mean though, wet your toes in the ocean and 2 hours later your swooshin down the mountain at Tahoe. :)
