I came back to ask the Americans... are you ok?

The felon at the World Economic Forum

"And I’m going to give you a quick little example. I w- — in the private life, my beautiful private life — before I had all these things happening — the world is a little different — I had a nice, simple life. You knew that.

But when I had that simple life, I did projects, and I had a big project in Ireland, and it had to get approval on something that would have made it even better. And I got the approval from Ireland in a period of a week, and it was a very, very, very efficient, good approval. "

🤡🤯🤪
How did you get whatever Kamala has been eating all this time. Be careful with that. It is one think to listen to word salad. But reading it. ???

Depends on <snip>

President Musk (and DonOld) WILL collapse the economy (and the stock market) with the Project 2025 “DOGE” initiative, etc.

Just wait until the U.S. defaults, as the MAGAt republican congress FAILS to pass a budget due to a lack of a basic understanding of math.

Then there are the inevitable climate change exacerbated disasters and outbreaks of diseases that will be mishandled by President Musk (and DonOld).

And did I mention the high potential for rebellion / resistance from TRULY persecuted individuals???

We. Told. You. So.

E. N. J. O. Y.

Ah here they are. The fun ones are back. Except for ii74. He's sick or angry. Must have held him back a few grades when they used to be able to do that.

Quick quiz - we've flooded the market with more oil and natural gas in the last four years than anyone ever has in history.

Are all economic issues addressed?

You're the moron who just thought that trump's words were so insane that you assumed it was Harris' words.

“Burn it all down” could literally happen during a climate change exacerbated dry, hot summer if even a few genuinely persecuted individuals decide to say “Fuck it”.

And all the guns, bullets, and money won’t be able to stop it / them.

Fires seem to be in the news constantly. Is Al fresco arson the new school shooting for the psychotically distressed youth?

Lightning can start fires.
Absolutely. And discarded glass, careless campers, or thoughtless smokers.
But fires can inspire arson too, like school shootings can inspire school shooters.
I know there were at least a couple of arrests in LA, but there's probably a lot of rumours and conspiracy theories about the fires that start more innocently.

I slept through all the flattery! It's nice to be memorable. I thank you from the bottom of my ego :rose:

An observation; I'm watching a very different presidency than the first term. The last time, things changed but in the same way things always change, which is usually very little and very slow. This time it's hard to keep up with how rapid and extreme the changes are. I went to sleep on the Gaza headline, and woke up to the ICC.

  • There's already been talk about the possibility of a third term. Obviously this would be a BIG change. From my perspective, I'm from a country where we elect the part rather than the leader, and we could have the same PM indefinitely, as long as the party and the electorate continue to back them. What are your thoughts on the possibility of a third, or even a fourth term?
That's pretty much settled, kind of like women's rights under Roe v Wade. We all agreed that two terms was enough. Lord knows one term was enough under Trump and one under Biden as well. Give us some fresh air after the next four years with Trump again. Not another one past that. One would think you are pushing hot sadist buttons for your amusement. ;)

It would require a constitutional amendment, which is difficult here as it must be approved by (1) 2/3 of both houses of Congress and (2) 3/4 of the state legislatures.

There was a recent film about a second American civil war -- a president holding on for a third term is what precipitates it.

Although that is entirely in keeping with my character, not this time.
Trump said something along the lines of "you won't have to vote again." and a Ogles proposed a resolution. 🤷‍♀️
I'm not particularly informed on US law, but my understanding is that a third term would be difficult but not entirely impossible.

I keep seeing that film advertised. I'll add it to my list of things to watch at work.

@Politruk's statement should clarify your understanding. Trump cannot serve a third term, even if it is not consecutive.

His quotes have had many interpretations by his staff. He says things literally and his staff tries to spin it as a figure of speech. Often the staff look as clownish defending him as he does. Take the current 'we will take Gaza' statements his press secretary tried to walk back without success as he repeated them several times over the next two days. Talk about lack of communication.

In this case, the spin is that he called for his followers to get out and vote this time because of the race's closeness. He needed their votes to assure his victory during this election. His staff vehemently defended the idea that people wouldn't vote in the future, which was not what he intended to say as his remarks alluded to. The next election, by their interpretation, voters could stay home since Republicans would have a lock on the next election by wide margins. The fence sitters, they claim he was addressing, wouldn't have to vote; just the regular diehard voters.

His team said that he didn't mean no one would be voting in the future or that it implied he would be a dictator. It goes with his famous statement that he would be a dictator from day one on national television, which his team also tried to walk back, but Trump stuck to that line on television over several weeks, not retracting it.

Trump's a sixth-grade level reader with some dyslexia issues. He never read the briefing from the military, which has been well documented. Couple that with his psychiatrist niece labeling him a narcissistic pathological liar, confirmed by his deceased sister, and you get a volatile clown for a president.

There is so much wrong with the man. It is as if his base doesn't or won't accept the flaws. They seem to prefer burning things down out of spite. Crazy Americans, eh?
