I am not athletically inclined BUT I want to do something...

Ballroom dancing.
Something that you and the hubby can do together.

(Or Not) ;)
Salsa Lessons are sexier!

Neither are sports, but what the hell.

doesn't it take energy to do the 1000 situps you must do to have that stomach?

No way.

You have a little funky suit and all that.

It was a blast for me. I totally got off on it.

Another thing...Fly fishing. There is something quite soothing about this one.

belly dancing is a blast, and because it attracts all shapes and all athletic abilities, it tends to be less strict than other types of dance or sports. I love it because it is a fun, low impact, occasionally aerobit exercise that really does work the abdominal muscles.

you could take up karate and get rid of all that pent up frustration...

See...one of my stupid quirks is that I don't like things that wreck my hair or make me cold, wet or muddy. So, fly fishing is out...karate is out...and so is fencing (you have to wear a mask thingy)...

I

wreck my hair. LOL. Women

Just kiddin ya

To increase my energy level and get me out of the house. I have no interest in sports whatsoever...I know...that is a stupid thing for a mother of 4 extremely athletic kids to announce but that is the way it is.

I played racquetball for awhile, but that didn't last long. I have no interest in team sports. I could go to the gym and work out but I have all the equipment at home, so why bother to pay for it? Same with swimming. I have no interest in golf.

What am I to do??? I thought about belly-dancing...hell, I don't know. Suggestions, anyone?

Lots and lots of sex. Lets go :D

On a more serious note... I have a bunch of friends that are belly dancers, they love it. Some do it to lose weight, others preform professionally. Only type of dance that I've seen where you don't have to be 50 pounds under weight to be an acceptable dancer. Belly dancing looks like alot of fun and can be rather seductive when preformed with skill...

you have to move to California...

Yes, that's true. There are exotic dancing studios on every corner in California. A pole in every home.

Bratcat.....while bellydancing would be fun, I don't know how much it would increase your envergy level. I don't consider myself to be very athletic either, but I find that getting in some sort of aerobic work out at least 4 times a week keeps my energy level up. I recently started a running program (something that I thought I could NEVER do) and I plan in running an organized 5k in the spring. I also plan on taking an Aikido class starting January. When I miss my workout it really effects my energy level and mood. I hope you find something you like......good luck.

Its not a sport though with me..its a spiritual experience..
I agree with ya here. Still looks like you could boost a gal's energy level though. ;)
