Heh, Alyx knows, never let me into any sort of electronics store, from parts to appliances, never let me into a bookstore or computer software store either. :D

But I don't have any sort of pms problem, except when Alyx is pms'ing.

Tip of the Day; Never go food shopping when hungry.

I'm with Bobmi in regards to the book stores. No one who knows me will go into one with me because they know I could be hours and I just had to buy a new book shelf because I filled up my third one last week.

Other than that though...never let me near Victoria's Secret...I can't walk into Vickys without buying something...

Let's see:

Books, Tools, Electronics, Music, Movies, Geeky stuff

All no-no's for me without adult supervision.

Luckily I have developed good control when it comes to not going into store where I'll be tempted.

Book stores are bad for me too. I can spend a good 3 hours in one and buy a book... but I can't leave empty handed.

Adult toy stores.... oi, I'm such an addict.

Any food market ..

And cheap stores, the dollar generals and the like.

Online shopping has become a new vice. It has that I don't see the money transfer, it can be charged, aaand the package never comes when it says so - so its always a suprise! Every one loves presents.

No EBay or Amazon for you! :p

I don't have a handle on ebay because I know if I did... I'd be whoring myself out for some of the stuff.

Guitar shops, tools, books, games, music stores, pretty much anywhere. I'm not to be trusted. On the other hand I give great gifts.

Being non-sports oriented and having ten thumbs (all with HIT ME signs on them), I've managed to avoid the love affair most men have with Home Depot and sport shops. :)

On the other hand, I'm a total clutz with a hammer in my hand. I can design and repair million dollar computers, I have built state of the art software, but put a hammer in my hand and I become a source of mass destruction. I WINCE whenever I get something that says Assembly required and they don't mean with a soldering iron! :D

I've never been to an adult toy store  but yes, yes, and yes on all the others. There's a Trader Joe's market down the street from me, and I go nuts every time I am in there.

Any quilt or fabric shop.

WALMART. I go in for batteries and shampoo, and come away with a receipt totalling $75. I cannot be trusted.

Online shopping. Don't even get me started. eBay is a terrible vice.

Did you spend time in Iraq earlier in this decade? If so, maybe your current presence in Idaho explains why the Prez and his gang that couldn't look straight missed finding those pesky weapons of mass destruction. :D

As for myself, I'm about as tight with my wallet as anyone, but when I get into that Trader Joe's store and it's family money I'd be spending, well, everyone needs another half dozen bottles of Chilean merlot, right? And if we're down to our last three boxes of No Pudge Fat-Free Brownie Mix then of course we need a few more.

And then there's the LL Bean retail store in Freeport, Maine. That's a half-day visit right there. And I don't even go near the hunting and fishing equipment because I don't do those things.

Oh, Barnes and Noble and Borders are a problem too, come to think of it. As is any used-book store. Ever been to the Tatterd Covers store in Denver? If you can get out of there in less than 3 hours you must be illiterate.

I can't be trusted near the NBA Store in NYC. Anything I get a huge amount of money, I want to go there. And every time something comes up and I pay for something like schoolbooks, birthdays, or something that prevents me. I'm glad I have no credit card.:D

If I had my way and unlimited funds I'd be buying all
that I want at Barnes and Noble and in terms of
clothes, Lane Bryant :D

but alas, I don't.....so I have to budget. :(

Nah, one of the advantages to being a civilian consultant to the military services is most of the time you manage to avoid combat zones. Besides, even if that had happened, I would have been aboard ship, not in the dirt somewhere. :D

My hat is off to the guys that get down and dirty, but I'll take a nice clean ship any day of the week to spending time in a foxhole. :)

Oh Yea, and patagonia around the corner, and the kayak / canoe oulet down the street from LLB and the LLB Factory outlet store.

Plus, LLB is open 24 / 7. So those middle of the nite map and gear cravings can be satisfied!!!
