I have had enough. I have had it up to here. This place has changed, or maybe it was never what I thought it was. Anyway there is a limit to how much any sane person can take and I’m way past it.

What is it that I object to? What is it that the people who claim to run this site know is a cancer eating away at the heart of the community, but refuse to act on?

Let me tell you.

It’s attention whores posting threads saying that they are leaving and why. I mean what’s up with that FFS?

I’ve had my fill. I’m out of here. Gone. Packing my bags and hitting the road. Don’t try to stop me, my mind is made up. No really it is. I can’t take just one more whiny, melodramatic leaving thread. Just leave won’t you, with dignity. And ideally silence.

The attention whore's don't bother me except to give me a chuckle every so often, though they are usually pretty sad. They've been around forever and will probably be on any site with a forum.

I remember one on this very same forum that probably too place while you were still in grade school. A poster complained about something that I don't remember for about a week, and then posted that she was so depressed over it that she was going to kill herself. She was pissed when she came back two days later and nobody had done anything to even acknowledge her threat. She thought somebody should have called the police. As far as I know, she never did really leave. She just kept bitching about anything and everything.

When I read one of those posts, I just smile and am thankful I have more to my life than a forum on an internet site. I guess some people aren't quite so lucky.
