How to stop?

I started a thread a few weeks ago about making sex a bit easier. And while it's definitely MUCH better (no pain, doesn't miss, flows much better, not as nervous) I still have some blood.

Immediately after, if I wipe off there will just be the tiniest bit of really pale blood. However, when I pee, I've noticed some bright red blood on the toilet paper. However, just sitting around during the day, there's no blood.

I'm not sure what's causing this, especially since there isn't any pain at all, and I didn't know where to search for information or what to even search for. So any advice at all would be appreciated.

Thanks

Maybe you should see your doctor or gynecologist? While it's one thing to ask if others have experienced something similar, it's a total different thing to ask for advice about it.

Get it checked out.

This happened to me early on with my second partner. I was only with my first partner once so I was still very inexperienced. I believe that it was due to his size and that I needed added lubrication. It was great but immediately afterwards there was always a tinge of blood. I did have myself checked out and was found to have nothing wrong. Have yourself checked out, I just went to Planned Parenthood and if all is fine, maybe you can add some lube. Even if it doesn't feel like you need it, try it!

whoops, I meant to post this in the How To forum, sorry about that.

We've been using lube. And the blood doesn't really show up until later.

Maybe I'll head over to my Planned Parenthood during the school break.

New...just get it checked out, if for nothing else, for your peace of mind. Your body's probably just taking its time to get used to intercourse..every body is different, it doesnt take much for you to have a different experience to somebody else...Like I, and a few others said in your last thread, the bleeding lasted longer for us than just the first two or three times but it sorted itself out. It could simply be a case of certain positions...who the hell knows what's going on in there...
Keep up the lubin' too!!
good luck, hope it all works out :)

The fact that it seems worse after urination is what made a flag go up for me. This could be normal, could be something like a bladder infection. I agree with everyone else, go get it checked out. Always better safe than sorry.

Bright red blood is ok; there's probably still some residual tearing of the hymen.

Dark blood is not ok - could be a sign of infection or STD or other stuff and needs to be checked out right away.

Pale, or light colored blood during or immediately after PIV sex is ok (it's irritation from rubbing or scratching during sex - use lots of lube, especially with condoms...use lots of lube even if he's only inserting a finger). Spotting is normal.

Birth control pills can also cause spotting. Sometimes sex can kick start your period, too. Orgasmic contractions can start expelling blood sooner than you're supposed to get your period.

If you're worried, call Planned Parenthood. You can tell them what you're experiencing over the phone and they can either set your mind at ease or have you come in for a check-up to make sure all is well.

But, from what you've said, this is all very normal.
