Is there a way to put something on my profile to let followers know that a new chapter is published?

Everyone who is already following you will receive a notification when you post a new story, they will also be notified every time you edit or update your profile.

What is a 'sig line?'

That won't really do anything about letting readers know as that is only seen if they come here to BB and go to his profile.

It also shows up in the new stories list that is published everyday.
