Yea, I'm not married. Being single and living together or married living together seems to present same situation.
Single and not living together will be a different way of having fun.

you have to be creative!

If you have a close friend who can sit for you or if you know another couple who is willing to "trade" sitting time -- take all the kids to the park while one couple plays; then get back together at the planned time and swap off. Even an hour each is good when it's been a while without wondering if you are going to get walked in on, or some one is hollering about who hit whom.

If they are near by and you want it RIGHT THEN! FIx them dinner and tell them you will eat later. Grab a quickie while they eat (we are talking older kids-not babies)

and ALWAYS LOCK THE DOOR!! Its like the old joke-- do you use vaseline for sex? and the mother of three says "yes!" And the the represenative is floored by how open and honest she is, so he asks if she minds giving details? "Oh, no problem. We just grease up the door knob real good, and by the time they get it open, we're done!"

Send them to a friends house and be ready for that friend to show up at your door on another day.

Wow all these neat ideas very nice.
I would say to "Carolina girl thru and thru" the idea of slicking
the door knob even if it is locked is really funny.
Not being a jack rabbit at giving a good fucking to a married
woman I know who has two small children, I would put an extra coating of vasaline on the doorknob. We have worked out an arrangement, she, her husband and I. He, knowing me well enough, takes the kids to BurgerKing while I"service" his wife.
He "services" her afterward. I get to be the "Uncle" that"s fun to be around.

I agree that you don't want your kids to walk in and see anything, although we're pretty open about nudity, etc. at our house. Having said that, the chance of being interrupted can add to the excitement, a quickie in the bathroom can be fun

We always cover ourselves with a sheet or blanket now, even if its really hot and annoying to do so! We don't like locking doors, and have had the heart-stopping experience of being in the middle of great sex and turning my head to see my son standing right next to the bed! It was winter so we were discretely covered, but it was still a shock... many awkward questions were asked!
