I thought you were one to go to the oldest scrolls, not some modern interpretation from a hack with a book to sell.

And I am sure that you are wrong. A lot of people cared. What do you mean by going to the "Oldest Scrolls"? Not sure what you mean.

Jesus is the only person to raise the dead, make the blind to see, turn water into wine, walk on water, make the lame to walk, predict His own death and resurrection and then die and rise again, ascend into heaven...and many more...

These evangelists cannot heal on their own power, they give glory to the Lord. Many of the things that Jesus did hasn't been done by anyone else either. Walking on water? Turning water into wine? Raising the dead?
 
Ohhhhhhh didn't notice. Saw this concept on a t-shirt and liked it. The t-shirt had even more superheros but Superman is not on it either. Hmmmmmm.

Please tell me it is for the reason I think!

Are you kidding? Jesus tried to convince everyone that he was going to rule the world. He thought he could be so meek that he would inherit the earth.

I'm not kidding!!! Jesus already has the earth he doesn't need to inherit it. He is not physically here but the Holy Spirit is. (It's that Trinity thing again):D We are the ones to inherit if we believe.

Meekness is having the right or the power to do something but refraining for the benefit of someone else. Jesus had the right to do whatever He wanted, but, for our sake, He submitted to “death on a cross.” He lead by example.

This life will go better if we help one another as well as love one another.

His return hasn't happened, but I have no doubt that it will.:cool:

Jesus IS going to rule the world. He left for a time because His people rejected their Messiah and so that the door could be opened for the Gentiles to obtain salvation. That's all non Jews. I am thankful. Very soon, He will be returning to this earth to rule and to reign forever. Before He does, the rapture of the Church must occur, the 7 year tribulation must occur, then He will return. No one will mock Him then.

Catholics do that. Protestants do not. Although in the Catholics defense, we are not under the law any more so it's not a sin to have graven images.
