You say you are a christian. Catholics are christians too. You share 99% of your theological and ethical beliefs with them, therefore don't you feel moved to expand yor admiration for an historical landmark to some more tangible help.

Plenty of precedent to consider. Lutheran Protestants paid for the completion of Cologne's Catholic Cathedral. In Norway Protestant church buildings and cathedrals are regularly lent out and used by other denominations. Strikes me that getting different denominations to work together rather than stress miniscule differences might make more sense.

Not really no. They have Billionaire pledging hundreds of millions of dollars to help them rebuild and not Disney has offered to help them as well. I don't think donating $10 will be necessary.

Doctrine is important. There are Doctrines that are essential that cannot be change. Salvation by Grace though faith in Christ alone is one of them. You must believe in your heart that He died and rose again, shedding His blood for your sins. To reject that is to reject the Gospel. To add to that is to pervert the Gospel.
