I'm just glad that Biden stepped aside. I think he should've done so last year. Our politics would be in a different place if he had.
That being said, Harris will get a bump from all the endorsements and then the ground will settle and we'll see where things end up. I can't see where she won't poll much higher than Biden.
Another aspect of this - the right is throwing darts at a board to see what weakness there is on her ticket. She needs to own whatever they throw. Even the whole "border czar" monicker. If she can or does, she'll settle in with an advantage
Currently with her honeymoon bump she's polling lower than, or equal to, Trump. Once the new Kamala smell fades, she'll drop in the polls.
Worse, she's still behind in most of the battleground states and is really behind in Pa which is a must win for her. Without PA there's no path to victory for the D's.
