How many new stories are we allowed in pending?

I currently have one story pending (it seems to have been stuck there for the past few days, in spite of the publish date was a few days ago).

Can I still submit new stories while I wait for that one to be published? Or, do I have to wait until that one is published before I submit another?

I am new to this site, and I am still learning.

I don't think there is a limit, but I wouldn't upload multiple chapters to a series at the same time. Reason being let's say for some reason Chapter two gets send back for some reason, or gets stuck in pending-and that has been happening due to a glitch-and 3&4 then publish and people are lost because a chapter is missing, and they may decide to stop reading and not come back to keep looking for it

As many as you like.

If they're connected to each other (multiple chapters), and you've finished the story, submit them all at the same time with a Note to the Editor, and Laurel will review as a batch and stagger a release every 24 hours.

If they're all standalone stories they just sit in the queue, along with everyone else's.

Keep submitting. Let us know when you hit the limit. I had eight 750 word stories and one longer one, so nine, and it wasn’t a problem.

I wouldn't do more than three, like Lovecraft said. I had one pending once, and it seemed like she was waiting for the next ones, because I was submitting at the same time after the previous one went live, so I submitted the next two.
