I think it can be generally agreed upon that whatever a persons sexual orientation that people have preferences when it comes to hair (or for some, the lack of it), in terms of styles, lengths, and colour. But I wondered why some people might think people have the preferences they do and why some people are very attracted to one style or hair colour, and turned off by another style or colour. Let me know what you think on the subject.

Color is not as important to me so much as length I prefer at least shoulder lenght

Although I may have slight preferences, overall it makes no difference to me as I can be attracted to ladies of all different types, it just depends.

I said before hair color means nothing to us! Skin color however gets me going. We are white, but our son-in-law and daughter-in-law are both black. The color contrast of mixed race sex always looks amazing.

I'm not sure I can "generally agree" to that. I believe in my own case I can say, in order of preference:
  1. Dark hair
  2. Red hair
  3. Blond hair
—but the "race" between them is so close as to make the differences negligible. If I were to make a list of overall attractors, hair color would definitely be at the bottom of the list.

As for styles, long hair, short hair, no hair can all be equally sexy, depending on the person and how they wear the style.

I have absolutely no preferences in terms of hair color or hair length. Whatever makes a woman feel sexy is fine by me. Bald or extremely short can be a turnoff (but not always), but other than that, it makes no difference.

At this point, I can't afford to be picky about hair color, length or style.

That being said, I have absolutely no preference when it comes to hair color.

While I generally don't care for really short hair on women, I am much more concerned with their face and body.

I guess it's never bothered me.

While I have a tendency for red, I'm not particular

Hair color has no importance to me -- literally dozens and dozens of attributes would be on my "attraction list" before hair color would be considered.

I'm a woman, so maybe it is a less important criterion. Men have told me before that they were attracted to me because they "love blondes" or some similar comment. That is not at all unusual, but I never knew a woman who was attracted to a certain hair color in a man.
