According to chapter 3, "Tips from the Experts and Know-It-Alls", in the Internet, Online, and Long-Distance Relationship Guidebook (2002, Houghton-Mifflin) the rule of thumb is that for every day you have been dealing with a person that you are considering seeing in person multiply those total days by 3 miles [3.2 kilometers].

So, if you have been dealing with someone for three months (90 days) and are wondering what to do, well, if that person is within 270 miles this rule of thumb says go-for-it.

Of course, there are other factors to take into account and some good advise on how to handle it all, too, in that volume.

Math buddy says three statute miles is about 4.8 kilometers.

My first trip out to meet her was a comedy of errors, an epic tale that made National Lampoon's Vacation look silly in comparison. I think maybe its the hockey that allows you to store your teeth in your pocket. I know he got hit a week or so ago in the mouth and had a loose molar for a bit.

I have flown from Vermont to Louisiana twice, and am going again in May.

Mr. Temptress has been from Vermont to West Virginia, and to Pennsylvania, and once we went to Pennsylvania together to meet people.

I've also met people when I've gone to places for conferences, such as Kansas City and Washington, DC.

Now I just need to win the lottery, and I'll travel more often.

I'm off to KC in on the april 3rd to meet someone been chatting to for about 5 months now...we are all going camping in the ozarks for a wiccan thing should be fun...first time I have ever done something like that to meet friends. But moved from one end of Fl to the other to be with my now husband and 11 yrs later damn did I do the right thing it only gets better. But of course that was after he and I had to been to hell and back together in one way or another it took him 3 yrs to get me there though
