I used the Voice Record Pro app on my iPhone (it's free), then uploaded the resulting mp3 to Vocaroo. I tried using Vocaroo on my laptop first, but it didn't work.

You have to have the speaker on on your laptop. It records through that I believe and it sounds bad because you get all of the back ground noise. Thats why I used headphones as a microphone. Sounded better but poor.

Tried both of those methods, but it wasn't working. The app was easy and free to use. Plus I didn't pick up much background noise in my recording, so I'm happy with the work around.

I can sing, but "This plug-in is not supported." It's always something. Couldn't find anything in help. I'll have to have a go later.

Does Vocaroo work on the iPhone and other mobile devices?
Yes, message playback should work on most smartphone devices which support HTML5 including iPhone and iPad.
Unfortunately, recording is not currently possible as iPhone and other devices have decided not to allow in-browser microphone access. Apps of some sort are a future possibility, but the future is sadly not now.
