Poussin said:I think (I'm sexy), therefore I am. Descartes wouldn't be very happy with me now, would he?I do believe though that sexy is a state of mind and that the sexier I feel, the sexiest I am.
Putting on my favorite underwear makes me feel sexy. When I go out in them nobody knows what I'm wearing under my clothes yet I attract a lot more attention than my usual (I wouldn't dare complain about my usual by the way). High heels make me feel sexy. I am tall and I know I've got legs worth looking at, I feel the heels just add to that. It's my own perception that makes my feel sexy.
Sexy isn't a tangible thing but it's the best feeling. I'd rather feel sexy than feel beautiful. I don't actually have to do anything to feel sexy besides believe that I am, and I don't think it actually have much to do with beauty whether beauty is there or not.
That for me is closely linked with stranger's reactions to me, something about the unexpected reactions I guess. The bus driver missing his light because he's looking at me accross the street (it made my day yesterday! I waved at him). A guy doing a double take after looking at me and letting out a surprised appreciative comment. A stranger stopping me on the street just to say something nice to me, not expecting anything in return. Genuine on the spot reactions make me feel sexiest. Impulsive reactions. They always surprise me and make me feel so sexy.
I just feel sexy so they don't need to work much at making me feel it. But a certain way to look at me, a certain smile, the way someone touches me, etc. will just send my "feeling sexy meter" way up there.
Sexy is not something I wear on the outside, it's how I feel inside that gives me something extra, something other people react to.
