How Do You Escape?

i paint and read. sometimes i just like going out to the studio with a drink and relaxing with a journal. i also like to drive. long drives through the country make for wonderful escapes.

I am fairly certain that yoga makes me feel the most happiest and peaceful. However, I am not a very aggressive person, so sometimes the competitive nature of a good race makes me feel fresh and revitatilized.

The back of our house faces a lake with a fountain. I either sit outside with my coffee and watch the sunrise.......... OR........ snuggle up on my window seat overstuffed with pillows and quilts, with my coffee.

The window seat faces the lake as well.

What a wonderful thread idea!! :rose:

without the coffee, is it only a partial escape?

To the Lakeshore. I love watching the sunset and gray, cloudy, dreary days, when I can walk the beach alone and think ...

How do you escape?

Usually I try to coerce some lovely lady to pile into the back of a van that is -- well -- fully outfitted -- twist that key -- stomp on the gas and then pretend it's out of petrol as they say. Never works -- but well that would be a way to escape. Now just lie down so I can see if we can rock a little more gas out of the tank. No, no you won't be needing those clothes. :D
