where should I go? I tried bars and that didnt work. I am 28 in NY. Its very hard to meet people here. I am 6'1, have been told I am handsome, very caring, generous and lonely.

FWIW, I've had very limited success on getting contacts from women in my area on Iwantu.com, AdultFriendFinder, and this very forum...the rule seems to be, keep posting and chatting, and eventually someone who finds you intriguing will contact YOU rather than the reverse.
