How do I insert other's posts?

I've tried and feel totally inept. So, how do I post/quote some one else's post on a mine and have it show up between lines and attributed to them?

If it is a particularily long post and you only want to quote a small bit from it highlight the part you don't want to post and delete it. Just make sure you leave the stuff before the actual posted text at the beginning and the bit in square brackets that ends with QUOTE at the end and it should work out just fine.

Now can someone tell me how to quote from more than one reply in the same post?

No problem, it took me about 50 posts to work out how to do it lol. Then when i did i was like "gee how stupid was i!" lol

Right next to the words vB Code above/left of the text box for your reply is a link to help on the various codes you can use to format your post: http://www.literotica.com/forum/misc.php?action=bbcode#buttons

You can use the quote button to insert the "quote tags" for you, or you can manually type in the tags and then cut and paste from the thread review below the reply box between them.

Theink of the various tags as switches that turn a function on and then off. All of the tags use square brackets to distinguish them from the text of your post -- []

To turn the quote format on, type quote inside square brackets.
To turn them off, put a backslash (/) before quote (/quote)

The Bold, Italics, Color, Font, and Size tags work the same way -- Tag name in brackets to start, backslash and tag name in brackets to stop.

Color, Font and Size also need a value specified after an equal sign inside the brackets on the first tag.

Color=red] This text would be red if I hadn't left the first bracket out[/color then back to black text when I closed the color tags.
