How complex are your stories?

I truly love this post.
Rather than copying all the veiled blowing of their own trumpet that we see every day in the AH, someone is being very straightforward and is issuing a challenge even. Let's see if anyone among the veiled trumpeteers answers the challenge.

I fucking love that post. Have I said that already? ;)

🎵 No, I would not give you false hope
On this strange and mournful day
But the hippo and whale reunion
Is only an ocean away 🎶

Girl who love girls who like girls who are girls who like girls when they're girl who like girls when they're girls, always will be something I tend to write.
I'll be humming that for days.❤️

My stories don't have complex plots or twists. I'm crap at planning ahead. Sometimes I can mostly see the shape of where I want a story to go, sometimes it just starts with a sentence and then goes somewhere unplanned with each new one I add. It's really just my latest one where I had a basic story arch with the start, middle and finish roughly laid out.

Too complex for lit. I like plot. Everyone hates my plot. The comments tell me so. Even my smut heavy steamy romp story, I'm told that my one little plot twist ruined the story.
You sound a bit like me.

I attempted a very short story about a simple act of intercourse - even titling it with that - and then I went and messed it up with a twist at the very end. It wasn't even that big of a twist, and as I was writing it I was afraid I had foreshadowed it too obviously. Someone wrote a comment about wanting to pour gasoline in their own eyes because of it.

The act of intercourse itself was nevertheless simple, LOL. Unless you think female on male is too kinky.

I kind of just aim to keep it simple, in my ongoing story one main character has anxiety and a learning disorder, the other is borderline personality disorder and anger management issues that border on anti social personality disorder.

I only added that complexity because I read a lot about mental health stuff, so it's fun to sprinkle in some of what I learn as I'm writing. It's probably too subtle for most people to pick up on, and it's not actually important to the story at all.

Oh, I didn't mess it up. The audience here generally speaking, by and large, is not interested in any plot getting in the way of a sex fantasy. No conflict or friction allowed.

As for female on male, an aggressive female on a weak male is by far the most popular dynamic on lit.

What about the worlds of many-to-one and BDSM dungeons and most CFNM? Stuff like that? Sounds to me like you're thinking about love, not sex.
I prefer love. Yeah, it’s rarer, but the quality and spice are far superior.
