Things have to be so confusing all the time?

Why do words have the power to effect us so completly?

How come stupid things make me cry now, while equally stupid things make me happy?

Gilly,

What about post partem?

I had a tough time iwth it and woudl cry over silly things and was very sensitive.

yes,. words have the power to hurt, I wish it were better for you.

hugs

Maybe because you've recently had a baby and things aren't back in balance just yet. Maybe a sensitive person should have known that before saying something wrong.

-sighs- It's just words, nothing more, nothing less.

In the mean time, I have to get the 3 year old dressed (again, he has the runs) and go grab the 6 year old at school.

Talk to your doctor about this. You're not the first person to experience this, and won't be the last. The have the technology to help ease these matters...... till then, think of all the wonderful people at Lit giving you their support!!:)

*hugs* Gilly.

I can't say that I *know* what you're going through, but that I'm here if you need.

I have to say I don't know why words affect you so powerfully right now; except emotional vulnerability, which isn't really an explanation.
What I can say is that it's happened to me before, to a lesser extent, and I found a few things that helped. Remember, this is all for a pretty mild condition, so if it's really bothering you, try that technology Storm mentioned.

Relax, first. Qi Gong and/or self hypnosis are very good here, if you have the time to be taught or research it, which you probably don't, being a mother. It's still ok though. Tilt your head back slightly, find where the back of your skull meets your neck, and press in and up gently about a finger's width on either side of the spine. The same distance from the second cervical vertebrae, about two finger's width down, also helps.
This has been a production of the alternative anxiety reduction workshop, thank you for attending.

Because some people have hate in their heart. If festers and boils over and has to be released because they know no other way.

I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.

Gilly

i would guess you should see a doctor as soon as you can dear.
i am thinking of your health and dont mean to sound mean.
big hugs to you.
