I wouldn't have been surprised if Shazam teed off on Yao Ming tonight.. I was expecting him to go off for 40 on Ming.. The "big un-funny" is the vet.. Yao is but a rookie.

My bad.. I gave Shazam and his Fakers credit... For a moment I was expecting the Lakers from last year, not this years Fakers.

And am I ever glad I was wrong!

Ming not only matched up well, but blocked Shaq-Fu REPEATEDLY

Admit it.. If this was last years Lakers, this kind of talk would be unheard of.

"The big prejudiced un-funny" WOULD have dropped 40 on Yao.. Kobe would have out performed Francis... the Lakers wouldn't have let Houston back into the game and let them win in OT..

And bottom line?? The Lakers of last year wouldn't be 9th in the conference and proud of winning a mere 5 out of 6. While the Fakers are trying to crawl into a playoff spot, the Mavs haven't even lost two in a row yet this season!

They may in fact squeek into the playoffs.. but I won't be surprised if they don't.
