Has anyone ever gone over to The Flying Saucer Pie Co. over on Crosstimbers for their holiday pie? It's pretty good too.

I used to live right over by Flying Saucer and lemme tell ya, I think they probably have some of the best in the city! They're an institution!



But I'm more into pizza pie!

I used to give in Oak Forest and drove by there alot. And yes, they are good. Worth the drive over there. mmmmmmmm

Trust me. It wasn't any fun at any time. It just wore me out and wore me down as it progessed. I was very tired of it all. Feeling much much better now -- THANK GOD! And looking forward to the Lit-together in San Antonio on Nov. 8th! Anyone else want to drive over?

I am up before the sun -- and not by choice. I told my daughter "remember this when I'm old and you have to take care of me."

She surprised her g/f by showing up with birthday stuff while her friend was in the shower. The logistics were impressive and entailed both moms, lots of clandestine phone calls and most importantly, getting up at 5 fricking o'clock in the morning!

At least I have a little more time to play before I really have to get ready. Have a good one!
