Does anybody know what's happened to our male crew members? I almost thought the thread had died, until Tanuki and Veryknowing posted.

Is the only guy we have posting a tentacled monster?

I don't think the thread is really dead, just resting. It's happened before. Xenocide is very busy with studying, Veryknowing has been busy in RL too, and I think that's a similiar problem with all the other male crew participants. It's very frustrating, but that's how it is. :(

I was too busy to post for 3 weeks too, only recently has work calmed down.

- and while Brian Chang has been waiting in that Jeffrey's Tube for assistance, what the hell happened to the rest of the male crew? Hardly anyone's posting lately. :(

Okay. Maybe I shouldn't complain overmuch, but I bet if I was female, there'd be a bunch of characters turning up to give Brian Chang a hand in getting into Engineering. :rolleyes:

I've been waiting for frigging ages for somebody to post something relevant to that...

Maybe the captain is smoking a cigarette? I'm sorry, I forgot about Chang's call for help too, and everyone else is busy in sick bay, I guess? Maybe you should assume no one is coming and post something accordingly? Go look for Keiko?

Sorry about seeming upset. I just have this problem of having a stupid amount of patience, and I was unwilling to get involved in other threads in case HWA took off again, but it seems everytime I get onto a thread, it seems to go into long periods of stasis. :confused:

I'm beginning to wonder if I'm jinxed :rolleyes:
 
They are all that way, people get busy or lose interest. Smaller groups are better I think, since it only takes one absent person to bring a thread to a halt.

Just think about what you want your character to do or experience, and find a way to make that happen with your post.

I've been thinking about Paendragon not posting for awhile too. I thought it might be due to there being no females on the bridge at the moment.

Tanuki has a good suggestion...besides, it looks like our monster got lost in the watery murk and can't find the potential damsel in distress to victimize and molest.

Actually Veryknowing was going to make the reader think that would happen, but it would be a different pond or something. But I think he went AWOL again.

Keiko is a very slow swimmer I guess she's still 2 meters from the edge!

I think we'll all be glad to have you back.

I'm going to be a little slow to reply to PMs or post today as another typhoon is hitting Japan....very big one. A record-breaker but it's fast moving fortunately.

Since recently all the old crew have started to return to Lit, I do hope we can revive this thread too.
