Hope it goes well Matriarch thread!

My prayers'll be with ya -I know it's all run of the mill stuff but it never harms to have a quick word with the big guy upstairs about such things *grins*

Hope it goes well and sorts out all the problems you've been having!

Thanks guys, you're the best.

Just about to settle down to a slap up meal (we really shouldn't watch cookery programmes before eating supper), roast beef, yorkshire puddings...followed by steamed treacle sponge......*drool*.........

Not allowed to eat after midnight, and nothing to drink after 6 am tomorrow.

*hugssssssssssssss* to you all.

Thank you all for your wishes, roses and hugs.

Time to shut down now, not sure when I'll be back on line, but I'll do my best to get the wife to log on and let you all know that we're home safe.

Best of luck to you Auntie. :rose: :rose: :rose:

You are in my thoughts.

Healing energy coming your way.

Get well soon.

The Word Chains Game won't be the same without you. ;)

Exactly what she said, but with knobs on. :rose:

Trinique, Fifty5, going in to hospital today to have my gall bladder removed, and finally get rid of the stones that have been causing me so much pain and distress over the last 2 years.

It's not a major op, but it is still intrusive surgery even though the procedure is done laporoscopically, and I should be home with the wife later today - all depends on where I am on the list for today, and how long I take to recover.

Just sharing my last cup of anything for many hours with my friends on lit.

Cheers....*sipping black tea*.......

I recently had a friend go in for just this surgery. She had 26 gall stones, too much to hope for disintegration or passing, so they elected to remove the bladder.

I hope you take comfort in the fact that she is doing fine. She was only out a week, and has had to change her diet drastically. But life goes on, and goes on well.

I wish you all the best, Auntie.
