About to take a picture of the 'stone'........which it isn't really. It looks like any mis-shapen stone you'd find on a beach until you feel the weight of it.

Very wierd.

Just for the record, I have 4 very small incisions on my abdomen, none of which requires stitches, and that's how they went in. There are, however (of course), stitches inside where they detached the gall bladder and sealed it.

Moving slowly and carefully, abdomen is very swollen and a little sore, like a very bad stitch is the only way I can describe it. But being spoiled by the wife, with lots of cuddling, kissing and touching. We have a whole night to make up for. Not used to being apart.

Glad that wasnt a kidney stone, imagine having to pass that mother load!!

Most of the discomfort is probably air in your torso. They bloat you up so they dont knick any organs they arent suppose to when the put the laproscope in. Best thing is light, very light exercise. Walking, lifting arms over head, etc. works its way out eventually. Mine went up into my shoulder, hurt like a bugger.

That's exactly where mine was! Hurt like fuck, until they stuck a heavy duty painkiller needle in the back of my hand. Went away very quickly.

I'm doing the exercise thing, walking around slowly, and I often sit or lie with my arms behind my head. I'll bear it in mind.

I dunnow what gallstones are supposed to look like, but I'm gutted because I was expecting something the size of at least a golf ball

What are you going to do with it? If it's like plastic, can you sculpt it into a different shape?

The gallbladder is typically about 10-12 cm long. [That is .4 to .5 inches in English units.] A golf ball would not fit well in the space. I would suggest that those desiring to carry a golf ball sized object around with them use a golf bag, instead of the gall bladder. JMHO.

Certain parts of the male body expand also. Usually to let certain parts of the female body have fun (and expand occasionally).

It feels like plastic, but its actually compressed bile....which is why it's kind of .......slimy to the touch.....I'm not doing anything with it except keeping it as a venting board. When I saw the consultant for checking out this morning, he said there were several others as well, smaller ones. He just saved me the biggest one! Sheesh....

And I'm disappointed - it only took you 3 pages to get this thread round to sex!
