I'm probably as sensitive to embarrassment as Tolyk, but I know we aren't typical. There are at least as many people on the AH who would have laughed and made a witty reply and changed their AV to an obscene hand gesture. It's also true that some of us (me?) have learned to avoid PM exchanges with people we don't know well, because too much is read into it...I don't believe it was the intention to hurt anyone's feelings. A sincere public apology is rare.
