I thought I would make a thread so we can thank those people who look over our stories, or provide input on areas where we may not have the detailed knowledge.

It may be an editor, or it could just be someone who had the right information when you needed it.

As for me, I want to say thanks to SelenaKittyn for bearing with my rambling scribbles, and helping me find a voice for my thoughts. You rock!

No, but since you mentioned it....

Ok... in the spirit of this thread, the Shanglan is my hero. Or heroine. It's hard to tell.

My impression from the short time I have been here is that Shanglan transcends gender. Both sides hold Shanglan in respectful awe.

The big one for me is Softouch but he doesn't post here anymore. :(

A few other fabulous helpers: Imp and Cloudy. And the Earl, who is still my favorite reader ever.

I'm not sure anyone on this board actually knows the gender of the horsey. He/she/it never tells and Shang very rarely gives you many clues to go upon.

The Earl

PS. <high-pitched girlish squeal at S-J's post>

*blushes*

Thanks awfully, Liar. I was coming on to the thread to thank others; finding your comment was a lovely surprise.

Carson, Varian, Cloudy, and Colly have all been been so generous with their time and their insight that I hardly know how to thank them, and so valuable in their understanding that they seem often to know much more than I do about what I am trying to achieve. Dr. Mabeuse's unstintingly generous and extremely thoughtful posts on the SDC and off have also been vital both to individual stories and to my development as a writer, and I know that many more authors than I alone owe him that debt. Thank you all, and everyone else whose aid has been such a wonderful support and resource.

And special thanks to the gosling. She knows why. Her words were brief, but perhaps more badly needed than any.

Indeed. :kiss:es for the horsey.

Oy!! We needed this.

From Lit: Kev, and Stella, and all the people who feedback me and keep in touch, even when I've been gone for months and months. Like My Erotic tail and Conjure Man, and Skip69.

From elsewhere: DeathPlay/Kittay, who gushes for me, Sarah, who criticizes me and gets away with it, Li, who giggles, Angie, who admires in few words, my brother, who always finds a way to be disgusted at what I write, and the various people who randomly read and tell me what they think, on DA, LJ, RS, Mer de Mal and in coffeehouses all over FL. You'd be surprised at how many little blue haired old ladies will read over your shoulder while you type and offer suggestions on how to improve erotic musings.

:nana:

Shanglan believes in me more than I do in myself. The truest supporters will help you find your own way, instead of showing it to you.

Colleen and Dr_M have been invaluable in my latest rough draft, which is nearing the finish after seven months. They have always come through, even when my questions are odd and my demands abrupt.

Celtic Princess, who doesn't pop in at Lit much anymore, keeps an eye on the technicalities for me. She keeps it real, even when I don't want to hear it.

:rose:

Colly, Shanglan, Imp, Bel, Alex de Kok, and more I'm forgetting to mention are, everyone of them, unstinting in offering help whenever it's needed, whether it's with a small passage, or an entire story.

What a great opportunity to say thank you
I have so many that have helped me immensely and I only have a little bit of stuff out so, that means I have needed lots of help

Colly, Rump, Lady Cibelle, and Abs have been wonderful in all their help in direction, editing and general guidance.{even though two of them swear they are not editors}

Carson, TC, AB, Cloudy and Imp for some of my 'special' stuff, massive help in guidance, editing and direction.{And for their discretion and silence}

Nirvana for her support and encouragement.

And many others have helped with opinions, guidance, encouragement, and good will.

Thank you to all. :rose:

Hugo

Alexis Haines, all my love dear..... :rose:

To a dear and sweet transplanted English lady who read a couple of my stories and volunteered to edit for me. She's going to make a writer out of me or kill me trying.... either way I win. Thank you.

Penelope Street, who's done a wonderful job editing my stuff.

lilredjammies, Colleen, MissJett, sweetsubsarahh and victoriwhita who always have nice and helpful feedback.

And everybody at the AH who have been a constant and welcome support.

Carsonshepard just made my appreciation list... otherwise i'd be getting murdered in about six hours... and that's too damn early to be murdered. :nana:

If I had understood them the first six times around I wouldn't have been so frantic. It's this whole natural blonde shit... some days are just worse on the stupid meter than others. And, as my brother says...

"Sister mine, you are hopelessly HTML challenged. Go to a tutor."
