Love that combo. I always look at all the other flavors but get overwhelmed with too many choices and combinations and end up getting the same thing.

IceP: I will vouch for Conager...maybe not a "nice guy" in the definition of the OP.... but definitely not an asshat. Confidence always looks good on a guy. Also...he has an ear for humor and quality postings on the boards. I for one, am quite annoyed by clingy...I don't care if they are male or female. And often nice= clingy.

I wonder if he will ever come back, it was his first post. I should prob not be on the welcoming commitee. I am definitely not that nice :)

So - welcome Mr. Nice Guy...I hope you do find what you are looking for here. There are all kinds of places to post and find welcome and don't be discouraged by this thread... even the Ice Princess is actually quite charming most of the time, lol. :D

I saw it on TV. I did not know at the time it was a made-for-tv movie. Widow ties wistful notes to tumbleweeds, cowboy finds the message-in-a-bottle style notes. Don't remember the point but Sam Elliot looked cool as hell in it. Mostly because he is Sam Elliot.

Wade Garrett. Overlooked dialog movie. The dialog is so bad it is good. I am not sure..I may have had that Sam Elliot as my avatar at the time. I was looking to replace the drawn pistol one from Conagher.

I knew Sam Elliot married Katherine Ross (who retired from a great career to be home with him) but I did not know that they met on the set of Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid. I didn't remember that he was in that. HE got Butch and Sundance's girl. Think about that. Paul Newman, Robert Redford in signature roles and she picked Sam Elliot. I suspect Newman and Redford were courtly and charming and Sam most likely smirked in a not-nice-guy way.

Really good point. Not only does no woman care about your dry-spells, they are leery of helping you break one. They want the option of tip-toeing away and they know they will feel bad if they build up a crestfallen guy then drop him.

Also, "people" is right. Not just women. If you are not comfortable with yourself first, random dudes next, and mixed groups how the hell do you expect to be comfortable opening your mouth around the fairer sex?
