The spouse is away so the mouse will play.

When the wife is gone I usually rent movies she wouldn't watch. For example:

Thin Red Line
Fight Club
Waking Ned Divine
Amelie

It is usually something foriegn and artsy, or a good war flick.

Any suggestions about what I should rent?

Your a good boy, at least you wait until your wife isn't there to watch the movies she doesn't like.

The other night we didn't have the kids here so we decided to get some Chinese food and a few videos....our lazy romantic night. Hubby trotted off to the video store while I finished a few chores at home. He returned with three video's........

Collateral Damage - typical Arnold Schwarzenegger movie, alright but not fantastic.

Black Hawk Down - I did enjoy this one.....war movie.

and I cannot remember the name of the last one but it was some prison movie...

Needless to say our night alone was hardly romantic. I think I'll do the video shop trip next time...

I've heard BlackHawk Down was really good. And semi-older indy movie called Once were Warriors is very good.

BlackHawk down is good, Collateral Damage..typical Arnie flick but not too bad, nice ending :)

Yes, I liked that movie. Got the wife to watch it too. It isn't too hard to get her to watch a movie staring Mel Gibson. He does seem like a natural in uniform too.

Unfortunately I've seen it. So any other suggestions?

Hell, the one with DeNiro and Ed Norton...can't remember the damn name though!

Rules of Engagement (I think) was another one

Black Hawk Down is totally intense. She actually requested it. Something about the LotR elf and Josh Hartnett being in it.

If it isn't a chick flick or drama, I can rent something staring the proper eye candy.

I don't write so well with my left hand, but I didn't mean to imply that I wasn't going to jack off all over the house. There is plenty of time to kill. There are a few stores in the area to visit and I have a recommendation for a toy.

get a lil dictaphone tape recorder thingy....and grunt out lil descriptive thingies before you forget them.....veins bulging....where the cum lands.....what you're thinking about as you cum......those kinda things.....

<perk>......what kind of toy?.......a butt one, huh?

les amants de pont neuf... the lovers of the new bridge (i think) is excellent. very very wierd... but definately not a chick flick. my former housemate got me to watch it (french mjr) and i have to say i'm glad, though the topic is a little disturbing (homelessness, drug abuse, missing persons, architechure, snow)
try it, go on, i dare you!

Have you seen "The Whole Nine Yards"?

Bruce Willis and Matthew Perry? Yes, very funny. I'm not so into Bruce Willis since Blue Moon Detective Agency, but he is good in this role.

Rent, Amelie.

Then Go Out And Rent Ghost World!
Wonderful Movie:D

Oh, I rented Amelie. Truly a beautiful movie. I really liked it.

Is Ghost World of a similar genre?

Try Dangerous Beauty. A wonderful movie I saw this weekend. It is set in Venice in 1582. It is about the corteseans. Very sexy movie!

Of course....your wife may like it as well.

This does sound like a good movie and one that I can wait to rent when my wife returns.

If you like Amelie and enjoyed Andre Tautou you can rent "Happenstance".

I thought it was funny, not as visually stunning as a Jeunet film but a good movie nonetheless..

Brotherhood of the Wolf is also a decent French flick.. sort of France's answer to American Blockbusters

Or go with an earlier Jeunet film... Delicatessan... City of Lost Children...

hmm.. i seem to be in a french mood this morning.

Park~
