I'm seriously considering relocating. I've never lived anywhere but in this aea of the country though. I'd love to move further south.

I need a few acres for the horses, and a couple of bedrooms. Those are about my only requirements. A sleeping porch and a fireplace would be really nice additions though.

I'm searching Realtor.com right now, but I need ideas on places to search.

What's your part of the country like? Cost of living? Sense of community? Schools? Job availability?

Southern West Virginia.

Plenty of acreage, close knit communities, the teachers and principle's and other school personal truly care about the children.

Land is cheap here, compared to most areas of the country. Same for the cost of living.. I'm always surprised what other's have to pay for gas, groceries, etc.

We have the seasonal changes, mountains, rivers, creeks, lakes, wildlife, and a low crime rate. There are a few horse ranches around.. a few horse parks to ride in, depending on where in WV.

Job availability depends on what you're education is, what you hold a degree in. We live close enough to Virginia that a lot of people I know drive there for work.
