How do I empty my pm box? I thought that I had deleted them, but I got a message saying that it's full. Any help would be appreciated.

There is a box to the right of the pm. Click on it and then click the delete button at the bottom of the list. Don't forget to delete sent pm's and your outbox too.

Remember to delete your sent folder as well, and make sure that you show messages since the beginning, and not only for the last 5 days, which is default.

i believe message tracking counts for your total, as well. If you check at the bottom of this page, under the list of people on-line now and the birthdays for today, you should find a note that says how many messages you have. If you're a pack rat ( as some are ;) ) and have messages that you just don't want to get rid of, perhaps you could create an alt just for those PMs, or send them to your e-mail.

Hope this helps...

Messaging tracking does NOT count against your total, but it's a good idea to keep the tracking list clean of messages that have been read anyway. If the summary on the main index page shows anything other than zero for total messages, it's probbly time to clean up you PM folders.

The two places where message build up to the point of causing problems is the messages not shown by the default time frame and the sent messages folder.

I make it a habit to delete every PM once it's been dealt with and save a copy of the PMs I send only when I have a specific purpose for needing it saved.

Am sure it's the "sent" folder that's filling up your quota. Go to that folder, select all (or almost all) and "delete" them. You'll free up plenty of space.

Sorry, i was just trying to help :(

I'm sure you did help, but the messge tracking thing is a common misconception about the PM totals, so I just wanted oclarify your answer -- and confirm the good advice about looking on the main index page to make sure you've cleared out everything that counts.
