Help! I can't find my volume control icon.

It used to be on the right hand side of my Windows95 taskbar. After diserster recovery session, it's gone. I want to listen to my CD, but I suspect my CD input/output thing is muted. Where canI find my volume control?

Go to Control Panel....and either Multimedia or Sounds and check the box that says "Show volume control on the taskbar"

This will put the volume control back in the taskbar.

Strangely, VC program had not been installed. Must be the work of my funky CDROM.
